An annual award run by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to honour outstanding manga by non-Japanese creators. Gold and Silver winners get a 7-day invitation to Japan including the ceremony, meetings with major Japanese mangaka, and publisher visits. The 19th edition drew 738 entries from 110 countries.
Rules
Eligibility
- Non-Japanese creator(s).
- Original work, minimum 16 pages.
- Created between 2023 and 2026.
- One entry per artist.
- Previous winners are not eligible.
- AI-primary works are not accepted (AI may be used as supplemental material if declared).
